McLaren team principal Martin Whitmarsh has praised the attitude of Sergio 'Checo' Perez in the wake of the team's disappointing start to 2013.

Lowe to join Mercedes next month
|
Mercedes have reached agreement with McLaren for Paddy Lowe to join the team on June 3, 2013. Lowe, replaced by Tim Goss as McLaren's technical director in February, had been expected to remain with the Woking squad until the end of the year.
He will now strengthen Mercedes' line-up in the role of executive director (technical) and will work closely with team principal, Ross Brawn, executive director (business), Toto Wolff, and the team's senior technical management

Pirelli to introduce revised tyres from Canada onwards

Formula One racing's official tyre suppliers Pirelli have announced that they will be providing tyres with a revised construction from the Canadian Grand Prix onwards.
The Italian company said after last weekend's race in Spain that they would make changes to reduce the number of pit stops per race ahead of the British Grand Prix, but they have now decided to introduce revised rubber a race earlier in Montreal

Pirelli to reduce number of pit stops by British Grand Prix
|
Pirelli's motorsport director Paul Hembery has said that the company are aiming to bring the number of pit stops per race down in time for the British Grand Prix on June 30, following Sunday's pit stop-dominated race in Spain.
The Italian manufacturer has helped to promote some fantastic racing since becoming Formula One racing's official tyre supplier in 2011, but Hembery admitted that the Formula 1 Gran Premio de España 2013 featured too many stops
